So, I've been getting more and more bored with all the games I have for both my Xbox 360 and my computer (yes, even with Steam Summer sales), and I know for sure it's not because I'm growing out of video games overall. I've been really itching for an rpg-type game, though really I'm open to anything that fits the bill described below.
- One, it must have an engaging storyline. Nothing like some silly Call of Duty drive-by plot. Really, most shooter games are out. Don't recommend any. Racing and sports games are also out.
- It must also have a deep underlying setting. I don't want something that barely touches the surface of the universe it's set in. I want varying characters, history behind the setting, lore, etc...
- Gameplay, while important, is not a primary concern for me right now. Skyrim, for example, has very simple game mechanics and is not overly difficult. Do not recommend a "Dark Souls" to me.
- I don't need anything with super-duper graphics either.
