Err, except none of that changes that there is a clear difference between shows like Bleach and shows like Toaru Index. Regardless of demographic, SAO is clearly not like Bleach or DBZ.
But of course, that's all beside my point. That point being that having Kirito suddenly whip out some dominating powerup to do what nobody else can is just corny (the bad kind) and looks dumb.
