Still surprised how much their gold editions are. 100 dollars just for two episodes? I bought an entire first season boxset of one series for 40 dollars, which included 12 episodes (3 episodes per dvd) along with a couple extras. I remember buying a dvd boxset of Haruhi Suzumiya for a friend for roughly 30 dollars which had three episodes and included a lot of extras (pencil board, a steam-on SOS symbol, a threesome pillowcase and a couple others).

Whole thing is with DEEN is that their dvds don't even give extras on the dvd. Westlo mentioned this before but the reason why people like Bakemonogatari dvds so much is that they always add more onto the scenes, so that you can see extra, and correct any art errors they made or completely redraw some things.

DEEN gives you a dakimura, but that's basically all you're getting. They also include a TIPs booklet, but it's the same from the game - nothing that can't be googled easily.

Although IIRC, Weak Square is the when the censorship of gore scenes begins, and that episode is included in Note 4. The censors should be gone now, since the tv stations are the ones that aired it with the blurs, so hopefully we'll see it uncensored for once. There should also be a Note 1-6 boxset (which is basically EP 1-2 and the 1st episode of EP 3) coming out however, according to an ad that ran with the final episode of the anime, which will have a drama cd with Stakes Valentine + Beato's White Day.
