I don't go shouting it from the roof tops, but if it comes up in conversation I don't deny it. The majority of the people I hang out with are anime fans anyway. It's really not that big a thing around here though aside from whats on TV like Bleach and Naruto, and some people for some odd reason take offense to people that like anime/manga around here and treat us like a sub-species. I'll never forget the one time a clerk at Waldenbooks refused to help me find a manga title becuse, as she stated it, "I hate that Japanese crap." The clerks at Best Buy are the same way, every time I buy a anime DVD there or am with someone that is getting one, they almost always roll their eyes and glare.
