I'll give you this, you are closer to an answer than you think
. Anyway, you'll probably see how Rukia deals with people who can see her and what she does in ep3
For ep2. Change spotting [just listing them first- like them or not better to leave for later]
Spoiler:
Managed to see this one proper, it feels compressed compared the manga dealing with the same time period because they cut a number of fillers. Sado/Chad they quickly slot in, Ichigo's nightmare is gone as well as deleted what really goes on in Orihime's head [wish they didn't, but you can't get everything]. Tatsuki obviously doesn't know Orihime likes the lead [in a funny sort of way] here and the training sequence is gone as well.
Minor changes: wtf was Rukia reading here anyway? Didn't sound like a horror manga but something we get from an old drama. Another one is of course her endowments
and wardrobe. The begining of the manga gave me the impression that the girl was just a stick doll with a big head. Wouldn't have known Rukia was a femme unless she stripped and bit me in the rear
Big difference now- but her head is still a little big. She was also a bit of a Goth prefering white or black wear in the coloured inserts.
Somehow wish they hadn't cut the training sequence- it was another hilarious showcase of bad grim reaper art. But then again, Ichigo still hasn't fully agreed to take up her job so the girl is forced to trail the bloke and smack him hard on the head. Crash course in the field I guess.
Personally, despite being a weaker episode than the first I'm very impressed by the voicework of everyone introduced so far. Orikasa Fumiko is of course astounding
, switching flawlessly between voice/personality from the coarse tomboy with a mission and the terminally polite facade to show she is a normal human being. Even more suprising when considering how alien all her current roles are to one another
Really acid delivery here for the comment to Ichigo when they were alone as well as the time she dropped the bomb about his new job
Matsuaka Yuki takes on another scatterbrained chick here. Me wonders if she flubbed some lines since it's to the point you can't even follow the gibberish coming out of the girl's mouth. Not a problem, Orihime in the manga was pretty much like that anyway- existing in her own world then coming out like an odd duck.
And yeah, Don Kanonji's cameo at the end was really funny.
