If you read through the discussion between Kyosuke and his father, you will realise that you can be a sis-con without having romantic feelings for your sister. Both of them know that it's not right for them to object to her "boyfriend", yet they will still do so, since they don't like the feeling of someone close to them taken away by a stranger.

I'm kinda less ranting about the 'romantic feelings' between the two, and more about how the plot turned almost 180 in terms of girls he stated to care about. After clearly stating he cares about her even though the girl is jealous of him having good relationships with another two girls, half a paragraph later he goes and accepts a confession from one of those two girls mentioned? I don't get that.
