They sure did in their original form when both Aladdin and Sindbad were hot babes.
Author said she wanted a lot more girls originally, but the cast had too many girls for a shounen manga and so she changed back the genders to same as source material.
I for one, wouldn't have minded seeing more..... assets, but Magi may not have been so successful with girls if half the sausages weren't there.
