Finally the news comes out. Sounds like it'll definitely be worth picking up down the road. New scenes, a new character (Japanese voice doesn't really matter unless they keep both voice tracks this time), and some mysterious element. I didn't really have a problem with the game so no idea what element they are talking about. Though seems they'll animate part of the onsen scene

Expected that this was the announcement, but still good news. Like the additional voices and really being able to play the game on the go isn't bad.
