Chances are the place they're going has the effect of freezing you to death unless you are able to not fall to despair/continue to burn your cosmo.

So far Koga is only with Yuna, which means Yuna did learn some ice tecnniques from Pablin. But given we won't see her teacher again, guess who is the ICE character of the series .
