Question: when you have the script what do you do next? do you have to make more effects on aegisub or do you only need de {\k}? where do i put de script and make it run? Thanks for the help
To answer the first question why people use ASS as opposed to Adobe After Effects:
1.) The largest reason would be due to the fact that Adobe After Effects is a professional program with a professional price. That and it is a very versatile program. It wasn't designed for just solely creating karaoke effects.
2.) ASS is much more suited for karaoke effects because it is a specialist application (well not really an application but more like a framework) that is more-a-less built for making only karaoke effects.
3.) ASS is free!
4.) IMO it takes much more skill to do a really fancy or nice effect in ASS then Adobe After Effects. Trust me, hawt girls are more impressed with 5000 \clips than some simple Box Blur =p

So with 4.) that would make me a non-skilled bitch... or something

Regarding your other ASS question look back in this thread, there is a great wealth of information that should help you figure out how to create karaokes effects. Also, if you plan on doing karaoke effects in Adobe After Effects then you had better learn at the very least the basics of doing it in ASS. This will make you life SO much easier. The reason why I say that is because the people making fancy effects in Adobe After Effects more than likely have a good deal of experience doing it before in ASS.
