Spoiler for bargain basement giants and close harmony singing:
...I'm very dissapointed with this ep, the giant's design was truely hideous (in a bad design kind of way) that I was cringing throughout. Riddles and puzzles don't really work for TV - especially for someone like me with ADD. Then the singing started...no sorry, but Lief singing is just, not cool...never again please.o.O
Anyway, not much happened in truth - the gang had to pass a bridge guarded by a giant who poses them three riddles, in the end Lief bests him and releases him from his curse and the giant turns into a big raven and flies off. Then the gang help a blue skinned kid to escape some of the Shadow Lord's big dim henchmen and that's pretty much it. The good parts, yet again, were reserved for Jasmine, who really is the only good thing about this episode. I really don't want to watch DQ just for Jasmine, but she's cute and fun to watch with Kree and Filli. The bickering between her and Lief is a step in the right direction, but this is one relationship that will be a slow burner.
I'm trying to remain postive though. I'm hoping next week makes up for it, Jasmine gets in a fight and get's hurt, there's monsters and an evil old couple.
