Yeah the singing was a bit off... but it was in the book.... it was exactly the same.... and is sort of reletive to a sub-plot that will hopefully be in episode 5-6 depending how quickly they progress threw the plot...

Besides, Lief is technically supposed to be a good singer and his musical 'talents' come into play in the 3rd Series: Dragons of Deltora... and with regards to the bridge guardian since he was under a spell, I don't think they were able to kill him... besides he was trapped at the bridge because he saved a friend from Theagan...

BTW If you have any questions about Deltora Quest in general I'd be more then happy to answer them since I know the series so well, I can watch the raw clips and still be about 95% certain on what they are talking about. However any questions I do answer... will be marked as spoilers.
