You know what would be "worse": Reverse the cosplay cafe scene, or make it a "normal" cafe that Haruhi, Yuki and Mikuru work.

Reverse has Haruhi cosplaying Konata, Mikuru as Patricia, and Yuki as Minami. Kyon is a customer.

"Normal" is that they just work there, Kyon is a customer. Itsuki is someplace (restroom maybe). Then three girls come in. Kyonko in Kagami's roll. Itsuko in Miyuki's roll. I don't know who fits Tsukasa here...maybe Mitsuuru is with them if nothing else works....
