Nope not at all . They are not related due to their race . In animes the color of the skin is not a big deal as compared to the real world . Anime/Manga Universes are Utopian in a way there is not much consideration to Race , Relgion and Orientation

Yes manga is way ahead of the Anime . Chracter development in the manga is high many charas have evolved as in comparision with anime . Yes compared to the sorry state of fillers reading manga is a treat for every Bleach Otaku
