I think what she means by that is that she wants to focus on the present and look to the future.
This doesn't mean that she thinks she can never get things back as the way they were, which is why Araragi reminds her of her past. But more than resettling ties of old, she wants to focus on new beginnings instead; hence, why I think she is saddened that she wasn't able to properly close things off with Kanbaru.
