I always thought the show's strongest suit was the humor, and I'm glad to see this bonus episode was devoted entirely to it. Fans who wanted more story will obviously be disappointed, but honestly, after the contrived drama that we got for an ending, I'd rather have this slice-of-life setting instead. Especially when it gives us more epic TK lines, Yui spazzing out on her guitar, and Yurippe being the megalomaniac that she is
The real standouts, of course, were Shiina and Kanade. Shiina breaking the Tension Meter reminded me of Tomoyo's 999+ hit combo from Clannad, and Kanade being Kanade was predictable yet charming as usual. The bit with the door's 'keypad' was especially hilarious
Was it wrong of me to also think of the show's actual ending upon seeing that 'BAD END' message?
