Spoiler for episode 12:
The ending was A LOT like the one for Kannazuki no Miko, but less emotional (I didn't cry this time) and cheezier.
It felt a little dragged out during the part where Kuu was evaporating...sloooowly... And I was rather surprised that they beat Kazuya so easily.
It doesn't say exactly how long Kyoshiro and Setsuna were searching for her. Must have been years though, since for both of them, the hair was really long. ("Hair" is such a difficult noun to put in the plural)
I still don't like Kyoshiro, and I still don't like Kuu too much. Once her hilarious letters and sparkle vision disappeared, she became rather cliché.
Setsuna looks better with her pretty long hair, especially the sparkly kind in Kuu's sparkle vision. Her letters to Kuu were really out of character, but funny and sweet. That being said, I think Setsuna's the sweetest character I've come across in any anime series. She protects Kuu even though she's supposed to be her rival, and searches with the man that she loves, whose mind is always on Kuu.

I forgot to mention: The animation for this episode was far better than the previous two.
No matter how full of cheeze that ending was, it was satisfactory. The time that I spent watching this show from January 'til now really seemed to pass so quickly, and I've had a lot of fun watching and speculating. I remember when I first heard of the show, I had a seriously messed up view of all the characters.
I'd heard that Himeko, Chikane and Souma were going to be in it. From reading the character page and watching the preview, I thought that somehow the three of them had reappeared...and had evil clones of themselves. I thought Himeko had become a redhead in addition to her other Himiko form, and that Chikane had gone blonde. I even thought that the Souma clone (Kyoshiro) was a girl because I'd heard of a yuri aspect.
Glad I'm not the only person that thought he was a girl at first.
It wasn't until the English translation came out on Wikipedia that I got everything straightened out.
