The first volume covers the events of the first three episodes, but it drags out ep 1 a bit long and cuts Jiromaru's story to a short and even more uneventful chapter. No nutter chase scene though.
The hostility between Ohana and Minko seems to have been relegated to an overreaction over Tohru...
, and her mother's even more marginalized than before. They cut out some scenes and dumbed down some interactions that really built characters in the anime.
