The Kodomo no Jikan manga isn't by Akira Goto and the title isn't written with any kanji (only hiragana) in Japanese. In other words: this is a different Kodomo no Jikan.
The AniDB entry for the same anime has a picture that clearly indicates it has nothing to do with the 2007 series:
