I'm largely fine with that somewhat negative review.
Here's my take on it, though...

I think he became a bit carried away with the 'gender stereotypes' complaint, but other than that, I can see where he's coming from.
If you went into this movie
with out
having read Novel 4, but while being very familiar with how the movie was promoted, you'd probably think that this was Yuki Nagato's ultimate shining moment.
And, well... it's only her shining moment in
plot importance
and
screen time
.
Novel 4 (and the movie by extension) doesn't really end that happily for Nagato, when you really think about it.
So I can see how a big Nagato fan would feel a bit let down by it.
But still... big Yuki Nagato fans that haven't read Novel 4 are probably a pretty small group, so I'm not too worried about it.
