Which begs the question...why no one sought to take the BETA in void war...you know, if they can make Alt V, why not make a blockade fleet to prevent the BETA from actually making planetfall and to hit them from orbit.
Must be because humanity hasn't developed directed energy weaponry that can be mass produced yet...
