Spoiler for Trick of the Golden Witch:
Magical Gohda Chef. I lol'd.
On a side note, I'm very interested to know how the chapel murder of the first twilight was pulled off. The most obvious theory, that the key wasn't in Shannon's pocket until after the closed room was deconstructed, has already been denied. After all, there's no way the author would have their Piece give out the solution to everyone before the Tea Party has even started. That would just be absurd. And obvious things like fake/duplicate keys and hidden passages are ruled out as a matter of course. The door was definitely locked from the start (otherwise, it would be EP2 First Twilight all over again, exactly the same, and that's just way too easy). The windows weren't broken until Kinzo broke one, which was when it was deconstructed. The murders didn't occur after it was deconstructed (or else, again, it would be too easy). The windows and door shouldn't be able to be used after the closed room has been constructed, and those are the only passages in or out. In other words, this is a perfect locked room. And something like "the culprit was still in the room, but alive, when it was deconstructed, and simply wasn't found" is both absurd and too easy. The murder did not take place after the closed room was constructed, but before it was deconstructed. The idea that they committed suicide like that is absurd, since they all had candies falling out of their stomachs. And the idea that 1-6 of them are still alive, is similarly absurd and too easy.
In other words... The murder has to have occurred before the closed room was constructed. That sure is confusing. Even if the murderer killed them and carried their corpses in, they can't lock the door without the key. The closed room cannot be constructed... You can't slip the key into Shannon's pocket after the closed room is constructed.
Therefore, I'm mistaken in thinking that this is a perfect closed room.
And that's where I get stumped. How can you use the door and/or windows to commit the crime and leave before it is deconstructed?
Unless, if the windows weren't locked, or can be locked/unlocked from the outside? That would be interesting.
Or did I exclude the real solution as a matter of course just because it would have been too easy? This episode is supposed to be very difficult to solve, so I wouldn't be able to believe that.
