The story in the manga is roughly the same as the story in the anime up until a point, and then it continues on past the anime. I don't think we can really say much about Del Ray's translation yet, as it's not due in stores until Tuesday. That being said, Del Ray has in the past always kept honorifics and usually includes translator's notes in the back to point out obscure cultural references you may not know about. I've already preordered mine and should be getting it right about Friday, so if you're still interested at the point, PM me and I'll tell you.
