Well since all their s. links are already maxed I don't think from a gameplay sense there's going to be any negative repercussions since it's impossible for them to be reversed afterwards. It's not like the story scenes of the game have ever really acknowledged or even mentioned in-game romances before either.
The worst thing will probably just be your own feeling of guilt depending on which of the characters you are attached to and whatnot. That's completely dependant on what kind of person you are though.
If it's inevitable and you don't want to suffer though it just use the new cutscene skip function.
