Well, this is 99.9% likely to be a parallel universe. C'mon, Saito Dousan isn't dead, Imagawa Yoshimoto isn't dead..
Anyways, that being said, even if Saru died or returned to his world, you don't think someone else could emerge to take his place and become "Hideyoshi" ??
That, and if Saru did eventually become the ruler of Japan as "Hideyoshi" do you think he'd repeat the mistake of invading Korea?
