I imagine there being a nice possibility sage mode can offer now that Naruto's gained Kyuubi's cooperation. I mean it draws upon an external source of chakra to fuel it (nature chakra) as oppose to his own. So perhaps Naruto's final power up will involve himself and Kurama developing a method for Naruto to draw upon nature chakra indefinitely throughout the course of a battle so that he can have infinite chakra.

But even if this doesn't end up becoming a reality, at the very least, sage mode should still be capable of augmenting his physical strength and endurance even further beyond the boost the 9 tails chakra mode provides. So there's always that I suppose.
