Random question time!

Spoiler for UBW Bad End:

So, I was replaying through some of my favorite scenes in UBW, when somewhere along the way I must have chosen a bad option or something, because instead of getting a choice between searching for Rin and going to the church (like I usually do), I went straight to the church and was killed by Caster.

I played back through it again to see if it would happen again, but I must have gotten it right this time because I got the usual choice between Rin and the church. It's not a big thing, but now I'm curious. Where'd I mess up?
