I think I get what bhl mean.
Basically, Kirei set it up so that Shirou had to fight against the two cats. Chrono come in right as Shirou deliver the killing blow, and assuming that he doesn't know about the cats previous situation... Kinda like that time where Kirei set Kariya up in front of Aoi.
