I guess Aquarion must have some fans out there - the OP ranked at number 2 (behind Cruel Angel's Thesis from Eva) in a recent 2ch poll of the top OP themes of all time (lots of Kanno tracks in there, hurrah!). Or at least a lot of people who liked the music...

The film goes into wide release tomorrow, although I believe it's had some preview showings previously. Hopefully some kind of information will trickle out about the content - I'm slightly dubious about the effect this might have on the sales of the second OVA as surely all the Aquarion fans will go and see the film? I guess until we know how the film's been edited together it's hard to say.

EDIT: and now there's Aquarion pachinko! Wow, Sankyo are definitely trying to get their money's worth out of it now...
