Following in the footsteps of Koei's other popular NeoRomance video game titles (Angelique and Harukanaru Toki no Naka de), it was just annouced that
Kiniro no Corda will be adapted into a TV anime. Kiniro no Corda is a shoujo video game that was adapted into a manga (currently being released in America by Viz). It's a shoujo series about high school students who play musical instruments.
You can see the official website for the PS2 game
here. The game falls under the NeoRomance category. NeoRomance games are games made by Koei that feature shoujo-style romances as the main theme. Japan's most popular dating sims for girls. ^_^ I'm so excited!
Edit: The manga of this is listed on Viz's website for January 2006 release, but it never came out. Wtf?
Evil Viz... announcing licenses and never releasing the product... just like what they did to Gintama. *shoots Viz*
