I guess having the volume up a little more than I usually have it helped as I could hear the pellets deflecting, then I looked closer and you can see the impacts on the wand.

Her wand shake lightly and make a weird sound on this scene. It is very sporadic, but it is probably due to Mikuru's awfull aim.
