There isn't a whole lot of characters in this show, and beside some really liked the guy.

Out of all the characters, Senjougahara struck me as the most interesting to watch. But if I had to pick one for likability, it would be a tie between Hanekawa and Mayoi.
For the rest, I voted for Meme because his general, cool attitude towards things, Shinobu because even with so little screen time she really did manage to leave a strong impression and Hitagi's father because he seemed like a man trying to do the best for his daughter
(not to mention that she most likely inherited her snark from him lol)
The rest ... meh, I liked them when they interacted with each other, but on their own, they didn't score well.
In fact, the thing that I believe excelled Bakemonogatari at was the many colourful between the cast. Aside form that and SHAFT's stylised approach to the adaption, not many of the characters ''clicked'' with me.
