Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what it's supposed to feel like. It's very much a parody of the RPG genre, with all the stereotypical clichés given a prominent role. I guess what makes it different is the over-the-top silly harem and the emphasis on comedy and cuteness (or maybe "comedy through cuteness"?).
