I agree there. Even Danzou, who was one of the most corrupted individuals with the most twisted sense of morality, was shown in a more understanding light towards the end.
As for Kisame, my only dissapointment was that he lost to Gai. Mainly dissapointed because in the end too much of Kisame's strength came from samehada.
I hope Kishi doesn't drag this out with Konan. If Tobi doesn't at least use some fire jutsu against her I'll consider him severely dumbed down for this fight.
