I wonder about that really. Part of childhood that is considered bad is exposed to overtly sexual things such as porn at very young age. It's really okay for a teenager to curious, but what's considered best is that they don't know about 'real thing' before they reached 12-13.

Of course, Reality never been so idealistic and kind.

I myself learn about such thing at the age of 14 or 15, when I entered High School and is considered an oddity :|
