Traditional Japanese green tea is not the same that you buy in tea bags.
It has a very strong bitter taste, and you make it from powder.
We serve it with 'wagashi', which are sweets like dango, or mochi.

My thighs hurt like hell for sitting in that position for such a long time, I've never been able to figure out why I have to turn the tea bowl, and why I wasn't supposed to eat the wagashi when given to me.
