Spoiler for Episode 12 (End):
I watched the final episode but I feel like it ends a bit too quickly. The suspicion started when something very unexpected happened, they placed the ending theme with credits in the episode halfway. However, I could say the Disney-style tale that Shinobu and friends are dreaming in the second half was great, coupled with fluid animation during battle scenes and explosions. This is where Shinobu always dream of having blond hair ever since she encountered Alice again. I'm surprised Alice is still staying in Japan and wants to be by Shinobu's side.
As for the series itself, it was excellent as a story, I really liked the character expressions that are used here. I don't expect much back then, but when the first few episodes were released, I was hooked into the universe where a young British girl makes her first arrival to Japan and made a lot of friends as a result. I'm glad I watched the series as a result and I was pleased with how much cultural references the staff is conveying. I really want to come back to England since I loved the entertaining aspect of it, Alice's after-school fashion sense was almost accurate. Since a few days ago, I really want the show to get a English dub and see if the British girls' voice acting almost matches the Japanese counterpart. I really want to see the show getting another season, it's one of the best shows of the summer season I've seen.
