Temporary. Each group of knight have a different motivation. A lot of them simply dislike Tendalie and Ganlon while another group simply wants to fight the invading force when the main army sits around and does nothing.
Furthermore, it would be noted later that each group is still observing Tigre to understand his motivations and to see if he is trustworthy enough.
