For example:
Ise's dream. We know that he wants to make a Harem, and also appear in the Rating Game in the future. But he also wants to become the strongest Pawn while making Rias the champion of Rating Game. Though Ise becoming independent and taking Asia and Xenovia will leave some holes in Rias's group. We know that Ise will remain as Rias's pawn for rest of his life, but trading Asia and Xenovia with Rias will definitely weaken Rias's group(which will also affect her future participation in RG).
So volume 14 clears some of them up by showing us what is going inside Ise's mind about those things, and what his priorities are.
The truth is I wasnt a big fan of Ravel(Probably the heroine I least like alongside Koneko and Irina). But volume 14 certainly changed my view on her.
She's freaken royal to Ise! Now Im ranking her really high. I never thought my opinion of her would change in just one volume....
Oh, and this volume also explains more clearly on why Ravel fell for Ise. She even tells him how she started to think all about him after the fight between Ise and Raiser.
