Women do it for male voices all the time and is extremely hard to tell the difference. I usually can't so I certain some males can do the same for a female voice. These are trained professionals after all who spend years learning to alter the pitch and tone of their voice. I know I probably who do a horrible job at it but then again VA isn't something I have ever trained in.
