I understand that sentiment completely, it's completely natural to feel that way as a fan of whatever work is being adapted to the screen, as it's inevitable that stuff will be cut, and it's also inevitable that you're never going to agree with what gets cut.
I guess the point I wanted to make is that this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, and that people should judge the adaptation on its own merit as a separate entity. Concentrating too much on what's in and what's not probably won't do much to help you enjoy the anime either.
