i dunno, he seems to do fine in cooking as demonstrated already in the anime.
He has a messy room though.

I too am curious as to what future Hachiman holds. As a lit.arts (there are two branches to major in, lit.arts and sciences) student he has abysmal mathematics backgrounds which will prob hinder his involvement in businesses.

While Yukino will prob be the breadwinner of the house, I can't really see Hachiman just sitting around doing nothing all day long though: maybe this is something the novel will explore some time down the road. (There might be more clues within this volume that I am reading - who knows?)
