Also the person pushing to be with sekai (almost the whole series) was Makoto. Sekai even told makoto( couple of times) that Kotohana was his girlfriend but makoto didnt listen.

Well, the true mastermind should be Setsuna. But Sekai's "practice" lesson led to like a drug addiction for Makoto(which led to the 'Everyone's Makoto' episode). I liked it much better when Makoto was initially shy.....
Well Sekai did force the 'After Festival' dance on him, which directly led to Koto's rape.
