Mind you I just re-skimmed volumes 1 and 2 quickly to refresh my memory.
EDIT: The scene with the gender confused character is at the end of chapter 8...only you never see the face in the manga, so blame Studio Deen for the weirdness of it all!
They pretty much combined chapter 4 and 5, so it's my mistake...it appears they are moving at a faster pace.
According to the next episode title:
we should be dealing with chapter seven...more or less.
