In the VN Nae sees Braun commits suicide which sets off a Butterfly Effect to cause her to become a Rounder 15 years later and work for SERN on the current world line, in this future she also kills the future Okabe. The future Nae then uses the time leap machine which SERN recovered from Okabe's lab to leap back in time. Since the time leap machine is only capable of leaping 2 days at a time thus she has to jump some 3000 times to come back to the current day (August 2010) where Moeka is still alive in order to take out her revenge. Also since she is using the time leap machine so only her future memory is time leaping back and not her physical body, hence you get the memory of a 20+ year future Nae old trapped in the current loli body.

Ok that makes sense but isn't the 2-day limitation on the Time Leap machine only because Okabe had to use it 2 days after Kurisu made it therefore if he leapt back any further, the Time Leap machine would'nt have existed? I thought it was an artificial limitation.
