Ever notice how our lil' vajra pet and Ranka have similar hair color? Factor in the anti-gravity capability of her hair plus the fact she was part of the "research" fleet when first contact was made. Not to mention that the pet vajra keeps following Ranka around....do we have a walking, talking, singing hybrid vajra here?
Or more to the point, the story has now made it possible that our cute lil Ranka is really the human interface / controlling mechanism for a biological weapon platform.
