Bought it around 10 months ago for 500€ ($658). Nothing great, actually rather low-end without going into Pentium or C2D CPUs, but more than good enough for what I want it for (HD video decoding, occassional encoding, light games) and for its price. Don't know about reliability, if anything, it does run cool even when encoding video and the like, which is more than I can say for other laptops I've seen.
