cheating on her friend with him. Also, Kotonoha is an idiot for being completely oblivious to all this until the end. All three of the main characters are idiots for throwing their lives away over a high school romance.

It is more permissible to have a plot about foolish people which could result in tragedy.

But when you have a foolish plot, you have a comedy. Or in SD's case a black comedy.

And it doesn't matter anyways, because my point is Makoto is not sexy at all compared to Yosuga no Sora's lead

Had plenty of sex and didn't die. Then again, one shouldn't really rate people on how much sex they get as an indicator of sexiness, because that always comes down to the double standard as the praise is directed exclusively at male characters
