If this mean her lover route it's canon? If i remember rigth Yu only make her realize this in the lover path. Or he made her realize about being herself(gir) even in the friendship route.

I think it's to soon to say this.

Both her lover and friends route have the same character development. The only difference is a confession and a visit to Yu's room. The same goes for all the other girls as well.
