Well it's only state Oct ,not Oct 2nd. The number 2 you saw just refer to Anime Season 2. And if Index II is still on the same time slot as previous season, my prediction is that the first ep will air on Thursday Oct 7th.
The bottom red box mention that they're going to release the book "Anime [To aru Masjutsu no Index] no Subete" (which will give some useful informations to anyone who didn't read a novel)
